NEW McCARTNEY FOR THE FABS....
Mark James, our "Paul", for the last few years has decided to swop his cuban heels for a string of onions and has joined the French Beatle band "Afterbeat". We have a had a lot of fun over the years and wish Mark every success with his solo career and new venture. Bon voyage. Bon V

The hundreds of applicants for the role made our rehearsal room look like the X-factor auditions. Short listing has now taken place for the prestigious role and the new holder of the Hofner will be announced shortly......itions

FABS GO TO THE UKRAINE....
We had a fantastic time in the old Soviet block. The good people of the Ukraine made us very welcome and convinced us that vodka should be both drank and shouted at every opportunity. More Russian adventure to follow in 2009...... For those of you who missed it the fabs leapt over the old iron curtain for a series of gigs in the Ukraine during October/November. Response was so good we now have an official Russian site. Check out www.fab4.com.ua We would like to thank Chris, Akim and Victor for making our stay so memorable if we could only remember it.


END OF THE APPROACH....
Normal service has been resumed at The Approach till the end of December which will mark the end of our 12 month stand at this musical hot spot. Thank you to Dave and all the staff who have made us so welcome and a special thank you to everyone who came down. We hope to catch you all at our Nottingham dates in 2008. We love you.

Following the success of this summers festival gig at the Garden in Keyworth. The Coals are planning "several dates" this year. The illusive coals have a plethora of new material. Gaz said " I will be looking forward to playing the new material just as soon Blue tells me what it is..."
